Lovely place very friendly and nice beer garden and dog friendly.
Went there for a Goth/Alternative meetup. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pub was modernised, but still retaining its character and the food was lovely – if a little spicy! Great selection of real ales, I was spoiled for choice!
Hope my friends choose to meet here again in the future. It was ace!

Nice friendly busy pub, are some well prepared and presented dishes, beer, cloudy cider, and IPA on tap.
Very busy on the weekends with friendly and noisy people of all ages loving their lives.

Lovely pub that has been decorated in a fun, quirky way! If you like the prince of wales in Moseley then this is for you. Great outside area for sunny days and the staff are really friendly and helpful. We had a birthday meal in a private room and felt really well looked after. Lots of communication before hand via email and the food was really nice.
Amazing service, lactose intolerant, went out of their way to cater for me. Very friendly barman, lovely atmosphere, fabulous setting, highly recommended ❤️❤️
Brilliant local pub. The outdoor garden has a great festival vibe. The beach chairs and lights set the relaxed scene. The cocktail menu is reasonable with some funshine drinks. Inside the rooms have their own quirky decor whilst still keeping to its traditional design. Great place.

Relaxed atmosphere, mixed crowd, good selection of beers ales and wines etc, liveusic on the regular, great big beer garden!
Absolute gem, we have driven past this for so many years. I never knew about it until we fancied a Sunday roast and did some research.
We will be coming back, absolutely gorgeous Sunday roast. Everyone was happy. Thank you so much. Our waiter was great, the food came out in good time and was lovely and warm. My wife was happy with the vegetarian option, she said it was the best ever! Very well priced! Won’t go anywhere else when we are in the neighbourhood. Thank you
Nice beer garden, part of which is under cover and has decent gas heaters. Decent friendly crowd, and a good selection of real ales. Good for children too, especially in the warmer weather as they have a bouncy castle and other outdoor activities. Would recommend.
Very friendly smiling staff. Vegetarian Food tasty. Free parking. Nice cosy environment.

I don’t live far from here and had never been to this pub until my friend took me. I actually had the best time! We stayed outside for the most part because it’s all heated and there is music plus lots of seating. There was also some little bar huts outside. Someone also spilled my drink everywhere and the bar staff were more than happy to get my a new drink which was really nice of them. Will be going back sometime.
Couldn’t fault the British Oak for their excellent food, service and attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly enjoyed my 50th birthday meal yesterday. Highly recommend the venue. Thanks for a great day/evening.
